In the DSAI project, Fraunhofer IIS has combined digital signal processing with artificial intelligence for the development of customized specialized solutions.

The DSgenAI project builds on the achievements of the DSAI project to explore how generative AI can advance digital signal processing. Together, Fraunhofer IIS, Fraunhofer AISEC, Fraunhofer IKS and the Friedrich‑Alexander University Erlangen‑Nuremberg develop new language models, embedded GenAI applications and supporting compute infrastructures.
